The Tusker

YALA NATIONAL PARK, Sri Lanka -- A tusker (Elephas maximus) found in a clearing turns to look at our jeep before continuing on its way.

Captured on 23^rd August 2008 using a Canon EOS 30D (EF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 III) on aperture priority (f/4.0) and ISO 1600. The focal length was set to 75mm and the enhanced contrast was achieved by setting the Picture Style to Clear.
