YALA NATIONAL PARK, Sri Lanka -- A Sri Lankan Leopard (Panthera pardus kotiya) glares disapprovingly at cameras as it walks past a jeep full of photographers.

Captured on August 29th 2009 with a Canon EOS 30D (EF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 III and Kenko 2X Teleplus Pro 300 teleconverter) on aperture priority (f/4.0) and ISO 800, manually focused.

totally love your blog and nice to read it again after a small break. this leopard looks familiar, I think there is only ONE leopard in Yala who can stand all the photography and he just slithers about from place to place pretending to be diversity. the rest stay safely in the jungle doing the normal things that leopards like doing, instead of posing for paparazi
