YALA NATIONAL PARK, Sri Lanka -- An Indian peacock (Pavo cristatus) poses for the camera from the undergrowth of the Yala.
Captured on 12th August 2006 with a Canon EOS 30D (EF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 III) in sports mode (ISO 400, 1/250th second shutter and aperture of F/5). Posted image digitally zoomed by 34%.
