WOBURN, United Kingdom -- The Tigers (Panthera tigris) within their enclosure. Unfortunately these magnificent cats were not allowed to roam free that day.

You've stumbled upon the Circus. Here be dragons. No, wait. Here be large clowns including Kahuna, St Vandoofus, Professor Gordon, Darth Teddy, Bartus Maximus, the Baron and Baroness, the Monster, Timmy, the Cookie Monster, Fluke, Huggles, Her Royal Highness, the Cheese Justice, the Admiral and the Genie. These are works of utter buffoonery punctuated by digital photography. If the Surgeon General hasn't already cautioned of the dangers of excessive laughter, there's not a moment to loose!

As long as Tigers (or any other cats) fed and looked after sexual needs, they don’t need to or like to ‘roam around’. In wild they normally sleep till the next meal in usual spot – may be couple of days depend on the food supply. Even when they hunt, they stay within their limited domain in wild. They don’t ‘roam free’ as much as we think even in wild.
Most of those animals in proper captivity have better life than animals in wild. They fed correctly (extremely hard in wild), they get a sexual partner (even hard for humans), and most of all they are protected. No. They are not that unfortunate.
What I meant was they were in their enclosure and not roaming around outside in a much larger areas as they usually do. Other than that I agree completely with what you said Sam.
